In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, 27th martyrdom anniversary of prominent resistance leader, S Hameed Wani was observed on Friday.  

S Hameed Wani was martyred by Indian forces on this day in 1998 at his hometown in Srinagar.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, expressed concern over the increase in human rights violations and illegal detention of the youth at the hands of Indian forces in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. 

He urged the international community to come forward in a big way to stop India from killing innocent Kashmiris.

The authorities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have again placed senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest, today, and prevented him from offering congregational Friday prayers at the Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.
