India intensifying settler-colonial agenda in IIOJK: APHC
January 29, 2025

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned New Delhi for accelerating its settler-colonial agenda in Kashmir.

In a statement issued in Srinagar, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said that India’s colonial occupation of Kashmir, which began with the 1947 invasion of Srinagar, has been marked by persistent exploitation and suppression of the indigenous population.

He highlighted that India’s actions are meant to alter the demographic structure of occupied territory by settling non-Kashmiri Hindus and exploiting the territory’s natural resources under military control.

Meanwhile, occupation troops continued massive cordon and search operations across the territory for the second consecutive day, today, subjecting the locals to immense harassment and intimidation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops also carried out raids under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at several locations in Rajouri.

On the other hand, Shiv Sena’s Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir unit has called for an end to the Lieutenant Governor’s rule and the restoration of IIOJK’s statehood.

Speaking at a program at the party's central office in Jammu, Shiv Sena IIOJK chief Manish Sahni said that dual power structure in the occupied territory disproportionately impacts the Jammu region.

In a previous video interview, Sahni also termed the revocation of Article 370 by the Modi regime as a wrong decision.
