Pakistan has expressed deep regret over United States veto on a UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in ongoing Israel’s war on besieged Gaza.
Talking to APP, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram said that a resolution has been vetoed by sole negative vote of a permanent member of the Council.
The UN Security Council voted 14-1 in favour of resolution but it was not adopted because of the US veto.
