Minister for Climate Change, Dr. Musadik Malik, has emphasized the need for businesses to integrate environmental responsibility into their core strategies and operations, invest in green innovation, and align with national and global climate commitments.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday, he underscored the importance of strategic, long-term planning and bold leadership in addressing the country's escalating environmental and climate-related challenges.

The Minister said that our future depends not only on strong policy and governance but also on how decisively our corporate sector steps up to the challenge.

He further said that climate resilience and sustainability are essential for economic stability, public health, and national security.

Musadik Malik stressed the need for a collective movement, led by the courage and innovation of business community in order to transition Pakistan toward a greener, more resilient economy.
