In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces have martyred nine hundred and twenty two children over past thirty-six years.

This was stated in a report released by Kashmir media service on the occasion of World Children’s Day today.

The report said children remain most vulnerable victims of India’s illegal occupation and military oppression in the territory.

The report called for global accountability for India’s crimes and for the resolution of the Kashmir dispute to end the suffering of Kashmiris.

Meanwhile, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has denounced a new directive mandating mosque caretakers in occupied Jammu and Kashmir to seek approval from a Waqf head appointed by the Modi-led regime before delivering Friday sermons.

In a statement, he termed the move a direct attack on the religious freedoms of Muslims.

Mirwaiz labeled the directive an "unacceptable intrusion" into religious practices and vowed to defend religious rights.
