Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said export led growth is the priority of the government.

Addressing a conference in Islamabad today, he said GSP Plus scheme has enabled Pakistan to diversify its trade portfolio and enter new markets. 

He mentioned that Pakistan's exports to the European Union have grown by more than one hundred percent over the past decade, reaching almost up to ten billion dollars. He said we must capitalize on the GSP Plus scheme by prioritizing high-end garments and technology-driven products in order to achieve the export-led growth target.
