Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar says economy is heading in the right direction and inflation has come down to its lowest level in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Talking to media in Toba Tek Singh on Saturday, he commended the valuable contribution of overseas Pakistanis in strengthening of the economy as record remittances worth four point one billion dollars were sent by expatriates in March this year.
Highlighting the achievements of the government in the economic sector, the Minister said that the Current Account Deficit has been converted into a surplus, and now it stands at 1.19 billion dollars.
Attaullah Tarar said that government has successfully averted the economic default and economy is now at the takeoff mode.
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has been sub divided into the twelve factions and it has nothing to do with the betterment of country.
The Minister stressed upon government's coalition partners to resolve the issues through dialogue.
