The All Parties Hurriyat Conference says India's Hindutva regime led by fascist Narendra Modi has launched a systematic assault on the Muslim identity of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, All Parties Hurriyat Conference's spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said, the ruling BJP is working to disempower Muslims, erode their religious and cultural identity, and impose Hindutva ideology in the occupied territory.

He highlighted a series of policies and actions taken by the Modi regime, which are designed to erase Kashmir's Islamic roots.

These include the promotion of Hindutva through cultural programs and policies, the takeover of religious sites, and the forced integration of Hindu symbols and traditions into daily life.

The spokesman urged the international community to pressure the Indian government to stop its policies of cultural domination and religious coercion in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Indian occupation authorities prevented senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq from participating in a mass marriage event in Srinagar, where 60 orphan girls were solemnized in Nikah. Mirwaiz virtually addressed the event.

On the other hand, Indian troops and paramilitary forces continued their cordon and search operations in various districts of the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir including Kishtwar, Poonch, and Rajouri. 

A fresh report by a British newspaper, The Guardian, has exposed the escalating violence in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, contradicting the Delhi government's claims of restoring peace in the territory.
