Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi says human trafficking has become a complex and a multi-faceted challenge and requires global response as no country can tackle it single-handedly.
He said this while holding meetings with Swiss Migration Minister Chirstine Schraner Burner, EU Migration and Home Affairs Chief Johannes Luchner, International Centre for Migration Policy Development Head Michael Spindelegger in Hungary today.
The issues of mutual interest, including combating irregular migration and human trafficking were focused in these meetings. The leaders emphasized the need for joint actions to address these challenges.
Mohsin Naqvi welcomed cooperation from the European Union and migration policy development organizations, noting that sustainable actions today can create a better future for upcoming generations.
He also stressed the importance of enhanced collaboration between delegations and institutions, specialized training for officers from relevant institutions.
