Member Balochistan Assembly Farah Azeem Shah has emphasized that the inclusive role of women is indispensable for the country's development and prosperity.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Lahore’s correspondent, Qasim Bukhari, in connection with International Women’s Day, she highlighted that Islam has empowered women. She cited the example of Hazrat Khadija (RA) as a successful businesswoman, who promoted a culture of entrepreneurship. She said that women played a frontline role in battles alongside Khatam-un-Nabiyeen Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Alayhee Wassalam.

Farah Azeem Shah stressed that women hold a significant portion of the country’s population and by bringing them into the mainstream, they can actively contribute to national development and progress.

Responding to a question, she shared despite securing admission to the medical field, she chose to pursue social activism, with her sole purpose in politics being public service.

Encouraging women, she urged them to rise above hardships, hurdles and the culture of bullying to assert themselves as valuable members of society and make their mark.

Speaking about her NGO, "Iman Pakistan", she highlighted that it operates with an out-of-the-box approach, raising awareness about the importance of voting and how it can change destinies. Additionally, she said the "Iman Pakistan Movement" aimed at reviving the spirit of national progress and inspiring individuals to contribute to the country’s development just as it achieved remarkable growth in the past despite limited resources.
